Sebastian’s Action Trust visit.
Doris and Brian visited Sebastian’s Action Trust, the charity voted for by choir members to support for our July Concert.
We were totally amazed by the facilities provided at their community building. These included a large lounge, swimming pool, sensory and cinema rooms as well as arts and crafts and musical instruments.
The centre had 4 large apartments, sleeping up to 8 people for patients and their families, including a hospital bed and wet room.
The large garden had play equipment for both able and disabled alike and focus is very much on families being able to make memories together, sibling children are also included in all activities.
They also offer open ended counselling in a separate building, and unlimited support for parents as needed.
Such a worthwhile charity. With dedicated staff who were most grateful for our donation.
